Aviation Identification (AVID) - Australian Government

Description

You will need an Aviation Identity (AVID) Security Check if you already hold or are applying for an Australian Flight Crew Licence (FCL). Additionally, all current pilots must have an aviation security status check which can be either an AVID or an Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC). An AVID does not allow you to operate in security controlled airports, for this you will need to apply for the ASIC.
