Code of Conduct for Trans-Tasman Patent and Trade Marks Attorneys - Australian Government

You must comply with this code if you are a registered patent or trade marks attorney. It sets out the minimum standards, obligations and professional conduct required of registered attorneys in their dealings with clients, other professional service providers and a regulatory authority. In determining whether to discipline or deregister an attorney, the Board will consider whether or not the attorney has complied with the code of conduct.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance that may be required.
