Description

You will need to comply with this code if you undertake activities in a controlled facility, with controlled apparatus or with controlled materials. A facility, apparatus or material is controlled if it requires strict operational procedures for safety and use in order to minimise harm from radiation or radioactive waste.

This code establishes requirements for radiation protection in mining and mineral processing industries and for protection of human health and the environment from the effects of radioactive waste from mining and mineral processing.
