Code of Practice for the Safe Transport of Radioactive Material (2019) - Australian Government

You will need to comply with this code if you are the holder of a facility or source licence and you intend to deal with controlled facilities, controlled apparatus or controlled materials that emit ionized or non-ionized radiation.  A facility, apparatus or material is controlled if it requires strict operational procedures for safety and use in order to minimise harm from radiation or radioactive waste.

This code establishes uniform requirements for the transport of radioactive material in Australia by road, rail and those waterways not covered by Maritime legislation.
