You will be required to comply with these standards if you intend to supply products or goods to consumers in the Australian market.

The purpose of a mandatory standard is to specify minimum requirements, particular safety and information features that your products must meet before they are supplied to consumers. It is an offence to supply consumer goods or product-related services that do not comply with these standards.
