Country of Origin Food Labelling Information Standard - Australian Government

You must comply with this standard if you supply food for retail sale in Australia. This standard applies to the retail sale of food in Australia such as food sold to the public in stores or markets, online, and packaged food sold by wholesalers.

Different labelling requirements depend on whether the food is grown, produced made or packed in Australia, whether it is priority or non-priority food or how the food is displayed for sale.
