Customs Warehouse Licence - Australian Government

Description

You will require this licence if you intend to store imported excise equivalent goods (EEGs) in a warehouse, or you are an operator of one or more warehouses that undertakes this activity. EEGs are imported goods that would be subject to excise goods if produced in Australia. This includes:

  • alcohol
  • tobacco
  • fuel and petroleum.

Before applying for a customs warehouse licence, you must be registered as an Integrated Cargo System (ICS) client with the Department of Home Affairs.
