Domestic Use Video Licence - Australian Government

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to film an event where you may capture copyrighted music playing or insert copyrighted music into the video recording. This may include events such as weddings or dance concerts.

Videographers may use this licence provided the copies they send to clients do not exceed the copy limits.

This licence does not apply to videos for general public view.

This licence legally authorises the domestic use of copyrighted music from within the Australasian Performing Right Association and Australasian Mechanical Copyright Owners Society (APRA AMCOS) and Phonographic Performance Company of Australia (PPCA) global inventory of registered songs, sound recordings and music videos.
