General Operator Certificate - AG - Australian Business Licence and Information Service

Description

You will require this certificate if you operate radio installations, radio navigational aids and communication equipment in a vessel.

It is also a requirement of many seafarers certificates that you must hold a current General Operator Certificate.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

To be eligible to receive this certificate, you must:

be at least 18 years old
have completed an approved course that meets the standard of competence in the Standards of Training, Certification and Watchkeeping for Seafarers Code.
