You may be required to comply with these guidelines if you intend to produce films for release within Australia. Films include any slide, videotape, disc, computer generated image or any other form of recording that makes a visual image.

These guidelines are a tool to help classify films by explaining the different classification categories and the scope and limits of material suitable for each category.
