Hearing Services Rules of Conduct 2012 - Australian Government

Description

You will be required to comply with these rules if you intend to operate as a hearing services provider.

Hearing Service Providers are entities (individuals, partnerships, companies or government agencies) which have been accredited and contracted with the Office of Hearing Services to provide hearing rehabilitation, assessment, and hearing loss prevention services to eligible clients of the Commonwealth Hearing Services Program.

It is a condition of accreditation that you must comply with these rules. These rules outline the requirements and standards that service providers contracted to deliver hearing services (Contracted Service Providers) under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program must adhere to when supplying services to voucher holders. The rules also set out qualifications and registration requirements for qualified practitioners that are engaged by Contracted Service Providers.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance that may be required.
