Licence for Dealings Not Involving Intentional Release of a Genetically Modified Organisms into the Environment - Australian Government

Description

You will need this licence if you are involved in dealings with genetically modified organisms (GMOs) that you do not intend to release into the environment. All GMOs of this type must be kept in a certified facility that has been approved by the Agency.

GMOs are organisms, whether plants or other matter, that have had their genomes altered by humans.

Please note that exemptions apply to some GMOs, see the attached form for more information.
