Licence to Manufacture Narcotic Drugs - Australian Government

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to manufacture narcotic drugs. This includes:

  • Taking a narcotic substance from a plant, like an opium poppy 
  • Obtaining a narcotic from a synthetic process 
  • Turning a substance into a narcotic drug, including transfers like morphine to codeine 
  • Refining and concentration of a drug. 

Additionally, you may also need a licence from your State or Territory Government and / or the Therapeutic Goods Administration.
