Maritime Labour Certificate - Australian Government

Description

You will require this certification if you are a Maritime Labour Convention approved operator and you intend to employ staff on a regulated Australian vessel that is:

  • at least 500 gross tonnage
  • ordinarily engaged in overseas voyages.

Please note that interim Maritime Labour Certificates are also available.

  • provide evidence of compliance with Marine Order 11
  • provide evidence of compliance with the Maritime Labour Convention
  • submit any required forms
  • pay any prescribed fees.
