You will be required to comply with this code if you are the manufacturer or importer of hazardous substances that are intended to be used on board trading ships. This code provides a flexible system of labelling where manufacturers and importers can meet requirements under different legislation which applies to labelling and at the same time produce labels appropriate to workplace needs.
