National Standards for Disability Services - Australian Government

Description

You may be required to be accredited and comply with these standards to receive funding from the Australian Government to operate a Regulated Activity as defined in the relevant legislation. This includes operating a Disability Employment Service or being a provider of the National Disability Advocacy Program.

These standards outline the minimum requirements for:

  • promoting individual rights
  • providing meaningful participation and active inclusion in society
  • building individual strengths and enabling goals to be reached
  • feedback and complaints
  • service access
  • service management.
