If you acquire or cease to hold company interests or otherwise change the ownership status to more or less than 2.5 per cent interest in an Australian media company, you will be required to notify the agency within 30 days of this occurring.

You will also be required to notify the agency if you are acting on behalf of foreign stakeholders such as executors or administrators of estates and liquidators of corporations if the entity you represent are subject to notification requirements.
You will also be required to notify the agency at the end of the financial year if you hold company interests of 2.5 per cent or more in an Australian media company.
