Occupational Standard for Exposure to Ultraviolet Radiation (1989) - Australian Government

Description

You may be required to comply with this Standard if you intend to work with non-ionising controlled apparatus.

This standard has been superseded and is referred to as the Radiation Protection Standard for Occupational Exposure to Ultraviolet Radiation (2006).

This standard limits the occupational exposure to ultraviolet radiation for artificial sources in the workplace, considered to be a controlled environment, and provides guidance on minimising a person's exposure to uncontrollable sources of UVR, such as the sun.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance (if any) that may be required.
