Description

You need this licence if you intend to play copyrighted music or offer music services online.

This licence covers online services earning less than $25,000 a year for each online activity.

This licence legally authorises the use of music for:

  • On-demand streaming (individual tracks or streaming services)
  • On-demand digital downloads
  • Webcasting
  • Podcasts
  • Entertainment / audiovisual streaming services
  • Backing tracks
  • Karaoke streaming and download services.

This licence legally authorises the public performance of copyrighted music from within the Australasian Performing Right Association and Australasian Mechanical Copyright Owners Society (APRA AMCOS) and Phonographic Performance Company of Australia (PPCA) global inventory of registered songs, sound recordings and music videos.
