Permit to Establish or Decommission a Facility - Australian Government

Description

You will require this permit if you intend to establish a facility to carry out work associated with nuclear activities. Facilities that require this permit include:

  • a nuclear facility
  • a facility for the carrying out of nuclear activities
  • a facility for the use of associated equipment.

You may also apply for a permit to carry out work to decommission the whole or a part of a facility. You will need separate permits if you intend to transport or possess nuclear material or associated items.
