Description

You will require this permit if you intend to undertake any recreational, research or commercial activity that has the potential to damage or interfere with a protected underwater cultural heritage, protected zone or foreign underwater cultural heritage.

The Underwater Heritage Act protects shipwrecks, sunken aircraft and their associated artefacts, that occurred 75 or more years ago.
