You may be required to comply with this code if you intend to prospect for, or undertake activities to produce petroleum in the Joint Petroleum Development Area (JPDA) established by the Timor Sea Treaty between Australia and East Timor. Activities to produce petroleum include:

  • development
  • initial processing
  • production
  • transportation
  • marketing
  • planning and preparation for such activities.
