A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence you must submit with your application:

• the proposed design and construction of the pipeline;
• complete and comprehensive plan of the pipeline including pumping, tank and valve station locations;
• the proposed size and capacity of the pipeline;
• proposals for work and expenditure in relation to the construction of the pipeline;
• your technical qualifications and those of your employees;
• the technical advice you have available;
• information detailing your financial resources; and
• any agreements you have made, or proposed to make, in relation to the conveyance of petroleum or greenhouse gas substances by means of the pipeline.

Duration

Indefinite term, but licence will terminate if the pipeline has not been used for a continuous period of at least 5 years or if the pipeline has not had any construction work for a continuous period of at least 5 years.
