You must comply with this standard if you intend to manufacture, supply, sell or modify a radiocommunications device for aeronautical use in the frequency range 118MHz to 137MHz.

The purpose of this standard is to ensure that radiocommunications equipment achieves a satisfactory level of performance prior to use.

Please note that if you are importing a radiocommunication device for the sole purpose of use at a significant event it may be exempt from this standard.
