You will be required to comply with this standard if you intend to manufacture, supply, sell or modify a short range radiocommunications device.
The purpose of this standard is to ensure radiocommunications equipment achieves a satisfactory level of performance prior to use. The technical requirements of this standard are drawn from AS / NZS 4268:2012 Radio equipment and systems - Short range devices - Limits and methods of measurement.
Please note that if you are importing a radiocommunications device for the sole purpose of use at a significant event, it may be exempt from this standard.
