Registration as an Introducer of Industrial Chemicals - Australian Government

Description

You need to register with the Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme (AICIS) if you intend to introduce (import and / or manufacture) new industrial chemicals including dyes, paint chemicals, cosmetics, adhesives and detergents in Australia.

To register you will need:

  • The value of the industrial chemicals you imported or manufactured during the last financial year
  • An Australian Registered Body Number (only if you are a non-Australian business).  

You must keep records of how you calculated the value of your chemicals. This could include documents like invoices, order confirmations and receipts.
