Rules and Practices for Aerodromes (RPA) - Australian Government

You will be required to comply with these rules if you intend to operate an aerodrome.

The Rules and Practices for Aerodromes (RPA) has been replaced by a new document called Manual of Standards (MOS) Part 139 - Aerodromes, which contains all the aerodrome rules, mandatory standards, procedures and guidance information relating to the planning, design and operation of aerodromes.

The RPA standards will continue to be relevant for existing facilities but any upgrading or new work is to be in accordance with MOS 139.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance that may be required.
