You will be required to comply with these standards if you intend to operate an aerodrome.

This manual contains all the aerodrome rules, mandatory standards, procedures and guidance information relating to the planning, design and operation of aerodromes.

These standards replace the Rules and Practices for Aerodromes (RPA). The RPA standards will continue to be relevant for existing facilities but any upgrading or new work is to be in accordance with the Manual of Standards.
