Description

You will need this permit if you are an educational institution and you intend to copy or communicate copyright material for educational purposes. This licence permits certain organisations, institutions and bodies to copy or retransmit content from radio and television for educational purposes or use by staff. There are two types of licences:

  • educational licences: Applies to universities and TAFEs, schools, registered training organisations, and other educational institutions.
  • retransmission licences: Applies to pay television, Internet Protocol Television (IPTV), and mobile phones.
