Ship Safety Certificate - Australian Government

Description

You will require these certificates if you are the operator of a regulated Australian vessel, domestic commercial vessel or a recreational vessel that has Australian nationality.

There are several kinds of safety certificates, including:

  • passenger ship safety certificate
  • passenger ship short voyage safety certificate
  • cargo ship safety construction certificate
  • cargo ship safety equipment certificate
  • cargo ship safety radio certificate
  • cargo ship safety certificate
  • exemption certificate
  • non-SOLAS (Safety of Life at Sea) certificate
  • certificate of survey for a passenger ship
  • certificate of survey for a cargo ship
  • certificate of survey for a fishing vessel.
