Description

You will be required to comply with this disability standard if you manufacture modify or supply customer equipment designed, or intended, for connection to a telecommunications network.

The purpose of this disability standard is to provide requirements for customer equipment that:

  • is for use in connection with the standard telephone service
  • is for use primarily by persons who do not have a disability
  • has features that are designed to cater for any or all of the special needs of persons with disabilities.
