This code of practice provides for minimum standards for operation, servicing and repair procedures of motor vehicle air conditioners (MVAC) and includes procedures for recovery and recycling of refrigerants to control emissions. Users of this code should refer to the relevant motor vehicle or air conditioning service manual for details of specific systems. Technicians must comply with the requirements of the Regulations, this code, the instructions and service manuals provided by equipment manufacturers.
Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance (if any) that may be required.
