Description

You may be required to comply with this Code of Practice if you intend to:

  • design, construct and install modifications to light vehicles
  • build individually constructed vehicles (ICVs)
  • certify certain imported vehicles.

Compliance with the Code will ensure that work undertaken satisfies the regulatory requirements of jurisdictions. For the purpose of this Code of Practice, a light vehicle is defined as a motor vehicle with a Gross Vehicle Mass of 4.5 tonnes or fewer.
