Wildlife Trade Permit - Multiple Consignment Authorities - AG - Australian Business Licence and Information Service

Description

You will require this permit if you intend to import or export animals or plants. The wildlife trade permit allows you to import or export:

species listed on the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES)
Australian native species.

Activities covered include:

the export of Australian native plants and animals (including pets, wildlife, insects and shells) or products derived from threatened Australian native animals and plants and exotic species
the import of species (including plants, and pets and animals for zoos, wildlife parks or travelling exhibitions) listed on CITES as threatened, and products derived from threatened species.

A Multiple Consignment Authority permits you to import or export an unlimited number of consignments of a particular range of specimens.
