Code of Practice and Safety Guide for Radiation Protection in Dentistry (2005) - Australian Government


You will be required to comply with this code if you are involved in dental radiology.

The code sets out the minimum requirements for equipment and siting, image receptors and film processing, and procedures to minimise exposure to ionizing radiation. The code also outlines practices and procedures in the use of ionizing radiation in dentistry that will ensure that the risk of radiation exposure to the patient, clinician and other persons is minimised.
