Food Standards Code - Australian Government

Description

You will require this Code if you intend to export grape products from Australia. All Grape products exported from Australia must comply with this Code unless:

  • The product meets all requirements for grape products imposed by the country to which the product is to be exported; and
  • The non-compliance will not compromise the reputation of Australian grape products.

Approval for non-compliance with this Code must be given in writing to the exporter from the Australian Wine and Brandy Corporation. The approval must outline the particulars of the non-compliance and state that the product must comply with the Code in any other respect.

Please note that you will require a licence to export grape products from Australia.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information and to ascertain the level of compliance (if any) that may be required.
