Electrical Contractors Licence - NT - Australian Business Licence and Information Service

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to contract for electrical work.

All electrical contractors licences must have at least one eligible person nominated as responsible for the electrical work carried out under the licence. Nominees must hold a NT electrical workers licence, endorsed with an 'Electrical Mechanic' trade classification.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible for this licence, you must:

have been a holder of an electrical worker's licence for not less than two years
be competent by reason of experience in performing electrical installation work and supervising others in performing such work
pass any test the board requires.
