You will need to notify the agency if you are in control or management of an underground, partially underground or fully mounded tank that has been used to store flammable gases or liquids, which:
- has not been used in the past 2 years
- has ceased operation and will not be used to store flammable gases or liquids in the future.
The tank / storage system must be:
- removed, if reasonably practicable
- made safe with no risk to health and safety if removal is not reasonably practicable.
