Accreditation of Certificate Providers - New South Wales

Description

You will need this accreditation to operate as an Accredited Certificate Provider (ACP) if you intend to create Energy Saving Certificates (ESCs) under the Energy Savings Scheme (ESS) for eligible energy-saving activities. Similarly, accreditation is required to create Peak Reduction Certificates (PRCs) under the Peak Demand Reduction Scheme (PDRS) for activities that reduce electricity demand during peak periods.

This accreditation enables you to register certificates representing verified energy savings or peak demand reductions, which can then be sold to obligated entities such as electricity retailers required to meet energy savings or peak reduction targets.
