Aerial Applicator Business Licence - New South Wales

Description

You will need this licence if you intend to operate a business that employs pilots for aerial application of pesticides (spray pesticides from an aircraft). A pesticide is any substance or mixture of substances used to destroy or alter the life cycle of any pest. Pesticides are used in commercial, domestic and urban and rural environments and include bactericides, baits, fungicides, herbicides, insecticides, lures, rodenticides and repellents.

This licence is required both if you apply the pesticides yourself, and if you employ others to do so.

Pesticides may only be applied by an aircraft that has been endorsed by the relevant Authority as suitable for agricultural operations.
