To be eligible for this approval, you must:
- have completed the required units of competency
- hold a Certificate IV Food Science and Technology or higher or related field, including a minimum of 40 hours of food microbiology
- pay the application fee
- participate in 2 days of training and assessments by the agency
- complete a verification audit which will be observed by a skill examiner employed by the agency.
Please note that you will need to meet additional requirements if you intend to audit high risk businesses.
