To gain approval to film you need to provide proof of your acceptance of the Councils filming guidelines. This approval may require details such as the location, type of activity, parking, road closures, access, traffic control, proof of notification of residents and other interested parties.
The minimum public liability insurance indemnity for this approval is $10,000,000.
Not all public areas are under the jurisdiction of the Council. Other authorities may have to be contacted before any filming can take place in these areas. Police or other government departments will also need to be notified of any filming activities.
