Approval of a Shooting Range - New South Wales

You will require this approval if you intend to operate a fixed or moveable shooting range (for example, a mobile shooting range or outdoor shooting range). A shooting range is an area provided with a firing line, targets and a stop butt for the controlled practice of shooting and is inclusive of the range danger area template.

Your approval may be subject to conditions. These conditions may relate to the firearms and events the range is authorised to conduct including any safety measures and restrictions applicable to the range.

Please consult the Contact Officer for more information.
