Approval to Advertise on Buildings and Structures During a Major Event - New South Wales

Description

You may require this approval if you intend to advertise at, or within 500 metres of a major event venue or facility. Specifically you will require this approval if you intend to:

  • cover, obliterate or remove any advertising material that is on your building or structure
  • cause or permit any advertising material to be fixed to or placed on the building or structure.

This approval applies to owners, occupiers or holders of a lease or licence relating to a building or structure that can be used to display advertising.

A major event is a high profile event that attracts large crowds (for example, the Olympic Games, Cricket World Cup or the Australia Open).
