Approval to Conduct a Punters' Club - New South Wales


You will need this approval to organise or conduct a punters' club at a race meeting. A punters' club is a club or group of people who contribute money to a pool, for the purposes of betting that money with a totalizator or a licensed bookmaker.

You will not require this approval if you intend to conduct a punters' club on a purely social basis.

Eligibility requirements

To be eligible, you must:

  • obtain the consent of the racing club conducting the race meeting
  • obtain the written approval of the racing control body responsible for that racing club.
