Approval to Deliver Construction Induction Training - New South Wales

Description

You will need to apply for this approval if you are a registered training organisation (RTO) and intend to provide construction induction training. Obtaining this approval allows you to conduct work health and safety training in order to provide construction induction cards, which are compulsory for people intending to undertake work on a construction site.

Please be aware that during the application process, you can nominate trainers to provide training on behalf of your organisation. The nominated trainers must meet all the requirements for delivering training.

Eligibility requirements

To deliver general construction induction training, RTOs must:

  • add the required unit of competency to their scope of registration for delivery in NSW
  • apply for approval to deliver training and nominate trainer/s who will deliver the training on your behalf
  • enter into an agreement with the Agency.
