Approval to Install a Manufactured Home, Moveable Dwelling or Associated Structure - Berrigan Shire Council - New South Wales

Description

You will require this approval if you are the owner or occupier of any land and intend to install a manufactured home, moveable dwelling, temporary shelter or other similar structure on it.

 

A manufactured home is a cabin, shack or other structure which is comprised of one or more sections. These sections are typically constructed and assembled in a different location from where they are erected. A manufactured home must include at least one bedroom, living area, kitchen, bathroom, toilet and laundry facility. A structure cannot be counted as a manufactured home if it can be registered as a vehicle.

 

A moveable dwelling is any tent, caravan, van or other portable structure used for human habitation.

 

An associated structure is any carport, shed, verandah or other structure designed to enhance a moveable dwelling.
