Description

Approval is required for banks to open their retail branches on weekends, as long as it is in the public interest to do so.

Banks may open their retail branches on public holidays and the August Bank Holiday, with the excpetion of:

  • Good Friday
  • Easter Sunday
  • Anzac Day
  • Christmas Day
  • Boxing Day.
