Approval to Participate in Needle Exchange Program - New South Wales

Description

You will require this approval if you intend to participate in a needle exchange program. Currently, the only needle exchange program available for participation is the New South Wales Needle and Syringe Program.

A needle exchange program facilitates the supply of sterile hypodermic syringes, needles and information to intravenous drug users. The purpose of this is to prevent the spread of contagious disease and minimise health risks associated with intravenous drug use.

If you participate in the program, you will be required to stock a variety of injecting equipment, and other related equipment.
