Description

Certain works on or near roads require approval. The type of work requiring approval includes but is not limited to:

erecting, removing or interfering with a structure, work or tree on a public road
digging up or disturbing the surface of a public road
pumping water into a public road from adjoining land
connecting a road (whether public or private) to a public road.

A licence defines the need to obtain recognition / certification and registration to undertake a certain business activity.

You may need to ensure that you meet insurance requirements as specified by Council.
