Artificial Breeding Technician / Station Licence (Harness Racing) - New South Wales

Description

You will need this licence to become involved in the artificial breeding of harness race horses. Artificial breeding consists of the use of techniques and procedures used to produce planned pregnancy of horses. All premises used as an artificial breeding station must be licensed.

All artificial breeding technicians must also be licensed. This licence authorises you to carry out the techniques and procedures involved in artificial breeding. This licence is generally granted to a registered veterinary surgeon. If you are not a registered veterinary surgeon, you may apply to carry out all techniques and procedures of artificial breeding apart from those relating to embryo transfer.

Please be aware that you must comply with the relevant rules and your licence may be subject to conditions.
