You will need this licence to undertake artificial breeding of harness race horses. Artificial breeding consists of the use of techniques and procedures used to produce planned pregnancy of horses. Art artificial breeding technicians as well as any premises used as an artificial breeding station must be licensed.
This licence is generally granted to a registered veterinary surgeon. If you are not a registered veterinary surgeon, you may apply to carry out all techniques and procedures of artificial breeding apart from those relating to embryo transfer.
